There's some oak in the nose here, spicy and faintly smoky, a serious profile, with big bones, a medium to full-bodied palate and abundant tannins that need time in bottle to be resolved.

On the palate this is chalky and vertical, and there isn’t much fruit, which doesn’t bring fullness. This is a classy, tense, stony wine that’s structured and melted. Amazing value for the money.

Bobal from calcareous soils. Ageworthy. Supple with lively red fruits and some redcurrant brightness. The palate is fine with good structure and fine spicy notes, as well as a good acid line.
Presteert ook met deze nieuwe oogst weer naar verwachting. Of betere gezegd: net daarboven. Filevorming, met name bij de koeler met Veiga da Princesa. Kan hoogstens tot overconsumptie leiden.
